The Origin Story
It started with five friends, a rusty Myvi, and a Google Maps pin dropped somewhere near Bukit Tabur. No fancy gear, no plan B — just the raw thrill of stepping out of the city and into the unknown.
That first hike changed everything. The laughter on the trail, the shared maggi at the summit, the unspoken understanding that nature strips away pretension and reveals who people truly are.
We kept hiking. More friends joined. Strangers became regulars. Regulars became family. And somewhere along the way, Anak Jungle was born — not as a brand, but as a movement.
Today, we are over 1,200 explorers strong. From beginners conquering their first hill to seasoned mountaineers chasing the next summit, we share one belief: the wild is for everyone.

Anak Jungle officially founded. First community trip to Gunung Datuk.
Pivoted to urban hikes during lockdown. Community grew to 200+.
Resumed full operations. Conquered Gunung Tahan for the first time.
Launched gear line and began monthly expeditions.
Reached 1,000+ community members. Expanded to Sabah & Sarawak.
